When Governor Pritzer closed all Illinois schools, it left many students who depend upon their school setting for breakfast and lunch without meals for two weeks. Rock Falls Rotary Club President Dave Chavira was very concerned about the students at East Coloma-Nelson who are dependent upon the school program to have food during these two weeks. So he rallied the Rock Falls Rotary Club to assist. Rock Falls Middle School became the site of distribution for all students in Rock Falls. East Coloma-Nelson teachers were assembling the meals as parents drove up with their orders.  Rock Falls Rotarians delivered the meals to the cars. Rotarians included Dave Chavira, Bob Sondgeroth, Jeff Gray, Deb Gonzalez, Karen Voss, and Tom Myers.
