Larry Farley of Dixon Rotary was one of the Friendship Exchange team to travel to India for an exchange. He presented a program of his trip to Rock Falls Rotarians. Visits included Rotary clubs and their projects, the industries of the area such as spinning cotton thread, and the  tourist sights of the area, such as the Unity Statue, largest in the world and the home of Gandhi. Living in homes of Rotarians, team members experienced the culture of India in its food, customs, and activities. In addition, the team also participated in a National Immunization Day of administering 2 drops of polio vaccine to hundreds of children in one day.
