Annual walk to draw attention for the need to eradicate Polio across the world. Donations to the Rotary International Polio Plus fund are welcome, but not required. For a $25 donation, you can get an End Polio Now t-shirt, while supplies last the day of the event. Registration is required for insurance purposes and opens at 8:15 am in the Larson Shelter at Centennial Park in Rock Falls. Coffee and energy bars will be available free of charge.
The walk route is along the Hennepin Canal to the Rock River and back to Centennial Park either along the canal or through downtown Rock Falls. The walk is hosted by District 6420 Rotary Clubs of Rock Falls, Walnut, Dixon, Sterling Noon, Morrison, Twin Cities Sunrise and the SVCC Rotaract Club.
