Rock Falls Rotary Presents Dictionaries to Third Grade Students

Four members of the Rock Falls Rotary Club Literacy Committee  - Cheryl Faber, Dave Chavira, Bob Sondgeroth, and Betty Clementz - visited every third grade classroom in the Rock Falls Schools, both public and parochial, to present to each third grade student an age appropriate dictionary as a gift from the Rock Falls Rotary Club.  A short program of how to use a dictionary and introduction to what other valuable information can be found in this version for third grade students at each classroom was well -received with interest by the students.  More than 200 dictionaries were delivered to Thome School, East Coloma School, Montmorency School, St. Andrew School, and Merrill School as  major Literacy project for the Rock Falls Rotary Club.
