Rock Falls Rotary Gathers School Supplies

Korah Winn Schlueter (center), an ESL teacher from Moline,  put out a call on Facebook for her need for school supplies for her English as a Second Language.  The majority of her students are immigrants from all over the world who arrive with little more than the hope for a better future.  When Secretary of Rock Falls Rotary Pat Novak (right) saw the request, she presented the idea to the Rock Falls Rotarians and her 'wishlist' was filled.  President of Rock Falls Rotary Pam Erby presented the items to her from her car trunk at Rotary Park.  Korah had been sponsored by Rock Falls Rotary as an Ambassadorial Rotary Scholar to Ireland to obtain her Masters degree in English as a Second Language.
