Global Rotary Scholar Presents Program
Jordan Groh of Rockford had been selected as a Global Scholar of 2013 - 2014 to go to London to study Conflict Resolution. Global Scholars are students who are seeking a Master's Degree in one of the six areas of focus of Rotary: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Maternal and Child Health, Water and Sanitation, Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community Development, or Disease prevention or Control. In addition to university studies, each Global Scholar must also do community service projects while in the country assigned. Jordan worked with migrants of the Middle East who had come to the UK.
